Description

This is a headstone dated 1774, located approximately 7 metres south of the aisle/chancel of the Church of St Petrock in Lydford. It commemorates Hannah, the wife of John Williams. The headstone is made of slate and features a segmental head, which is flanked by raised circles. Each circle contains a carved winged angel's head, with a woman's figure carved at the centre. The stone mason's name is inscribed in very small print at the top of the headstone.
