Description

Wayside stone, approximately 100 metres to the north-north-west of the Church of St Thomas, is an early Christian stone that was formerly located at East Linnacombe Farm. It is probably from the 10th century and was repaired and re-erected in 1985. This monolithic granite standing stone features an inscription on the front that includes a Greek cross at the top, followed by a circle, a St Andrew's cross, and another circle. The rear is carved with a Greek cross and two circles connected by a vertical line.
