Description

Ash house, probably 18th century, featuring granite rubble walls and a corbelled granite roof. The building has a circular plan with a loading hatch on the southeast side and a doorway on the opposite wall. The 1840 Tithe Map indicates that a home called Yelworthy once existed at this site, of which only the level site remains to the south of the ash house.
