Description

The Nosworthy headstone, located approximately 1 metre south-east of the Church of St. Winifrid, is a Grade II listed memorial dedicated to William Nosworthy. It dates from 1784 and is made of granite. The headstone features a cambered top with scratch moulding around its edge. It is inscribed with an elaborated initial letter and reads, "In memory of William Nosworthy of Ford in this parish."
