Description

Ash house, probably from the 18th century, located approximately 6 metres north of Torhill Farmhouse. It features granite rubble walls and a corbelled granite roof. The building has a circular plan and is single storey, with a doorway on the side opposite the farmhouse, which has granite jambs and a projecting granite lintel. There is a loading shute on the other side facing the farmhouse, positioned at a higher level, also with granite jambs and a lintel. The conical roof is covered in grass. This structure forms a group with Torhill Farmhouse.
