Description

The Ellis headstone, located in St Peter's churchyard about 4 metres southwest of the south porch, is likely from the late 17th century. Made of granite, the headstone features a shouldered rounded head with an incised line along the edges. The back of the stone is rough and undressed. The front displays a carved inscription dedicated to Elizabeth, the wife of William Ellis.
