Description

April Cottage is a house located in Buckland-in-the-Moor Bridge, likely dating from the 17th century or earlier, with a later addition. The building is constructed of granite rubble and features thatched roofs. There are granite chimneystacks on each gable of the main range, along with a very large granite stack in the rear wall at the left-hand end. The house has a single depth plan and stands two storeys tall, with a single storey addition to the right. The front of the house has three windows, while the addition has one window. The windows are fitted with wooden casements that include glazing bars. The centre doorway is topped with a thatched hood. The interior has not been inspected.
