Description

Ruddycleave Cottage is a house located in Buckland-in-the-Moor, likely dating from the 17th century or earlier. It is built from granite rubble and features half-hipped thatched roofs. The cottage has granite chimneystacks on the left-hand side wall and on the ridge of the right wing, creating an L-shaped plan. The main range, which faces the road, has a gable wall that is two windows wide but contains only one window on the ground floor. The windows are 20th-century wooden casements with glazing bars. The right wing is lower and does not have an upper-storey window. There is a 20th-century door in the ground storey. The interior has not been inspected.
