Description
The building is a barn and horse-engine house, likely dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of granite rubble and has a slated roof. The main barn is two storeys high with a half-hipped roof, while the engine house is single storeyed and has a polygonally hipped roof. There is also a single-storeyed addition on the north-west side. At each end of the main two-storeyed section, facing the road, there is an upper-storey doorway with a wooden pent-roofed hood above. Each doorway features an old plank door with strap-hinges that opens in two halves. The north-west doorway is accessed by a flight of granite steps. The engine house is located off-centre to the left and projects deeply, featuring a three-sided end facing the road.
