Description

This is a barn located about 10 metres south of Lower Bonehill Farmhouse, possibly dating from the 18th century or earlier. It is constructed of granite rubble and features a slated roof that was originally half-hipped. The barn is a single storey with double doors located in the north wall, positioned off-centre to the left. At the right-hand end of the front wall, there is a small rectangular projection with a pent roof, which is likely a former privy. Additionally, there is a lean-to structure against the west gable wall, believed to have been used as a dairy. The roof was rebuilt in the 20th century.
