Description
Middle Wreyland is a house dating from the 16th century. It features roughcast walls made of stone or cob and a thatched roof. The building has a projecting stone chimneystack with offsets located in the north-west gable and another at the center of the ridge. The layout consists of three rooms and a through-passage plan, with the hall stack backing onto the passage. The house is two storeys high and has six windows across its front. Although the interior was not inspected, a report from 1980 notes that there are fireplaces with hollow-moulded granite jambs in the former hall and the lower room. The hall fireplace is described as having a chamfered wood lintel with pyramid stops. A linhay, located on the opposite side of the courtyard from the house, is listed separately.
