Description

This chest tomb, dating from around 1700, is located approximately 4 metres east of the Church of St. Winifrid in Manaton. It is made of granite and features fielded panels on all four sides, with roll moulding around the edges. The tomb has a large chamfered plinth, and the lid is adorned with ogee moulding on the underside. There is an illegible inscription on the lid.
