Description

The Abbey Cottage is a house, now also used as offices, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of limestone ashlar and features a plain first floor string and a parapet with a cornice. The roof is covered with concrete tiles, and the gables are coped with rebuilt stacks. The building has two storeys and is designed with two windows. The first floor has glazing bar sashes set in reveals above canted bays that also contain glazing bar sashes. Centrally located is a four-panel door beneath a transom light with margin bars.
