Description

The William Proctor monument, located approximately 17 meters west of the north-west corner of Abbey Church in Tewkesbury, is a lofty chest tomb dating from 1828. It is made of sandstone and features a flat ledger with a raised center, moulded edges, and raised panels along the long sides. The end panels are recessed and have a moulded cornice and base. The monument is set on a moulded base and a large platform, which was formerly railed and has a brick sub-structure.
