Description
This building, known as Chapel Barn, is located about 370 yards south of Ringfield Farm and dates from the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed of white Cotswold stone rubble and features an asbestos roof. The barn has a catslide midstreys on each side of a slight projection, with the rear midstreys containing a single door. There is a blind opening on the north gable end, along with a triplet of arched windows and one window on each side of the midstreys; these openings are plastered and painted with ecclesiastical tracery. Inside, the barn has a three-bay layout, with a roof supported by two rows of half purlins. Each truss features one main rafter with a curved base to tie, and there are curved braces supporting the wall beam across the midstreys.
