SPRING HILL 1. 5227 (north-east side) Stone Cottage ST 8499 6/23 II GV

Apparently early C18, projects into road. Coursed rubble with modern blocking course. Cotswold stone roof. One 2-light stone mullion window on gable side. Front elevation has one range of 2 light chamfered mullion windows with drips and Tudor arch heads, flat-headed door with label and Gothic inscription on lintel "Stone Cottage".
