Description
Winslow Lodge is an early 19th-century building that incorporates earlier work. It is two storeys high and constructed from coursed rubble with a stone tile roof, although part of the rear has a plain tile roof. The gable ends are angled forward, creating a splayed U-plan. The gable ends feature blocked pigeon-holes; the left gable has an arched window with a keyed rusticated surround and a ground floor window with a moulded architrave and square mullion. The right gable has steps leading up to a door and a window with a timber lintel to the left.
The centre of the front has two casement windows, with the first-floor windows slightly breaking above the eaves. The ground floor windows are set in rusticated surrounds, with a horse-trough located under each window and a segment-headed doorway in between. The left bay contains a segment-headed door, while the right bay has double doors beneath a wide bressummer. At the rear of the right wing, there is a two-light window with a chamfered mullion and a drip.
