Description

The former stables to Slade House, located on the north side of Summer Street, date back to the 17th century. The building is constructed from hammer-dressed rubble and features a pitched stone roof. It stands two storeys tall with attics. On the first floor, there are two mullioned windows that are linked by a hoodmould, while two additional windows have been blocked, although part of their hoodmould remains. In the gable at attic level, there is one mullion window. This structure is part of a group that includes Slade House and the former stables associated with it.
