Description

This is a late 18th-century ashlar-built house on Slad Road. It has a hipped slate roof and three storeys, with a plain string course above each floor. A moulded eaves cornice and blocking course run along the top. The front features three ranges of double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. A Tuscan porch with a semi-circular fanlight is centred on the entrance, and is supported by fluted Greek Doric half-columns and a full entablature. Two early 19th-century canted bays, partially fluted, have been added to the front.
