Description
This is a barn located approximately 60 meters south of Througham Court, dated 'W E T 1787' for William Turner. It is constructed from random rubble limestone and features a stone slate roof. The barn has five bays, with porches on the north and south sides and outshuts. The gabled porches include a south porch with weatherboarded gable infill and an outshut to the west of the south porch, where the parapet gable coping extends to the outshut. The north porch has a timber lintel and a plank door. There is an angled porch to the right and an inserted casement. A loft casement is present on the west gable end. Inside, the barn features a five-bay collar and tie-beam truss roof.
