Description

This description covers a group of two chest tombs located in the churchyard, approximately 8 meters northwest of the vestry of the Church of St John the Baptist in Randwick Village. These monuments date from the early 18th century and are made of limestone. The group includes two lyre-ended chest tombs. The southern tomb features a later inscription dated 1751, which is associated with the Chandler family. The northern tomb has a simpler design and is characterized by a very thick cyma-moulded top.
