Description

This is a 17th-century pillar sundial located south of Wick Street House in Painswick. It is made of limestone and features a slightly tapered square shaft that stands approximately 1.8 meters high. The shaft is topped with a moulded capping that supports a cube on a moulded base, culminating in a ball finial. Each of the four faces of the sundial has a gnomon.
