Description

The Browning monument is a pedestal tomb located in the churchyard approximately 8 metres south-west of the Church of St. Lawrence. It dates from 1788 and is made of sandstone. The tomb features a bow-ended design with round-topped side inscription panels that include paterae in the spandrels. It has a moulded top with domical coping and a moulded base. The north side is inscribed in memory of John Browning, who died in 1788.
