Description

The wall and entrance gateway to Field Place, located to the east and southeast of the house, dates from the mid-18th century. It is constructed from hammer-dressed rubble and features an embattled top. The gatepiers have panelled sides and are topped with elaborate crowns that include crocketed finials. The entrance is completed with panelled gates.
