Description

Castle Bank and Yarrow is a mid-19th century building located on Lower Street. It is constructed of polychrome brick with ashlar dressings and features a pitched slate roof with grouped chimneystacks. The building stands two storeys tall with attics and has two gables, each containing one casement window. There are also two oblong bays with casement windows and two ranges of casements on the ground floor, which include mullions and transoms. The entrance features two doors with decorated panelling and diaper pattern tiles in the tympana of relieving arches.
