Description
This is an early 18th-century chest tomb located approximately 1 meter south of the chapel to the Church of St. Lawrence in Longney Village. It is made of limestone and features lyre ends with a winged cherub's head on the west side. On the east side, there is another winged cherub's head above three death's heads and cross-bones set in a shell niche. The south side has a swag inscription panel, while the north side displays a wreathed oval panel with a swag above it and two winged cherub's heads, flanked by putti holding open books. The tomb has a cyma moulded top and base, but the inscriptions are illegible.
