Description
Priory House is a house that has been converted into flats, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of stuccoed brick and features a slate roof. The building has a double-depth block design and stands two storeys tall. The front is symmetrical, with a cornice above the central entrance doorway, which has mid-20th century double doors and a plain rectangular fanlight. On either side of the entrance are sash windows, and on the first floor, there are three late 19th-century sash windows, all with vertical glazing bars. There is also a large mid-20th century dormer. The interior has not been inspected. Despite some unfortunate alterations, Priory House is an important part of the group with Nos 5-8.
