Description
The Pickering monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, approximately 5 meters southwest of the southwest corner of the porch of the Church of St. Andrew. It commemorates Robert Pickering, who died in 1837. The tomb is made of stone and features a lid that is swept up to a low ridge with a moulded edge. The sides and ends are trapezium-shaped and taper downwards, adorned with fielded panels. It also has a moulded base.
