Description
This is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, about 9.5 meters south of the southeast corner of the nave of the Church of St. Andrew. It dates from the mid-18th century and is made of stone. The tomb features a flat lid with a moulded edge. The north face has a sunk rectangular panel with a moulded edge in the center, framed by narrow panels. The right panel includes a swag with a carved head below it. The ends of the tomb are shaped like lyres, with a carved head in a circle of leaves on the west end, while the east end is weathered and the south end is plain. At the time of the survey in 1984, the tomb was half sunk.
