Description

The Taylor memorial is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 22 metres southeast of the chancel of the Church of St. Mary the Virgin. It commemorates John Taylor, who died in 1736. The tomb is made of sandstone and features a flat top with cyma moulded capping and lyre ends. The plinth is not visible. On the south side, there is a simple rectangular panel with an inscription, surrounded by a spiral linear carved design.
