Description
The Trigg monument is a pedestal tomb located in the churchyard about 7 meters south of the southeast corner of the nave of the Church of St. Andrew. It commemorates John Trigg, who died in 1809, and is made of stone. The monument features a square, flat dome and a step leading to a flat lid with a moulded edge. It has a reeded frieze, with the reeding stopping just before the corners. The sides are plain, with sunk ovals for lettering, and it rests on a moulded base. The corners are indented at all levels.
