Description

This is a mid-19th century house located on City Bank Road, Cirencester. The main part of the house is a two-story, three-window range constructed from coursed squared limestone rubble with a stone slate roof. The chimney stacks at the left and right ends have been rebuilt in concrete blockwork. The first floor has three two-light timber casement windows with glazing bars, set in plain reveals and stone sills. The ground floor has two similar windows. A gabled porch with a stone slate roof and a stone finial sits at the centre, enclosing a door with six flush panels. Flush quoins mark the left and right angles of the facade. A contemporary wing extends to the rear, featuring two gables. The interior of the house has not been inspected.
