Description
No. 12 City Bank Road is a house located in Cirencester, dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone rubble and features a stone slate roof, with an artificial slate covering on the rear extension. The building has a stone stack on the right end and includes a small gable at the front. To the right, there is a single-storey lean-to extension, and at the rear, a small single-storey gabled extension. The house has two storeys and an attic, with a one-window range.
On the first floor, there is one 20th-century metal casement window in a plain reveal with an exposed timber lintel, and another similar window in the gable above. The ground floor features one similar window and two 20th-century gabled porches, each with stone slate roofs and a pair of 20th-century glazed doors. To the left of the porches, there is a plank door with a glazed panel inside the porch. The interior has not been inspected. This building, along with No. 14 City Bank Road, is said to be part of the remains of Langley's Mill Buildings.
