Description
Foxcote House, known as Atoamere, is a 17th-century building located on the west side of High Street in Moreton-in-the-Marsh. It stands at 2½ storeys tall and is constructed of ashlar stone, featuring a rubble patch in the center. The roof is slate and includes one gabled dormer.
The first floor has three irregularly spaced windows, which are 3-light casements. The center and right-hand windows have stone mullions and drips, while the left-hand window is a 19th-century addition with a segmental head. The ground floor displays a mix of window styles, including a mid-19th-century shop window with a corniced fascia on the left, a small 3-light casement in the center, and a small angled bay on the right. There are two doors and a blocked door to the right of the shop window. Additionally, there is a shallow empty niche of small dimensions on the first floor.
