Description

Gable Cottage is a 17th or 18th century gabled cottage that was extended in the early 20th century. It has 1½ storeys and features mullion windows. The building is constructed of coursed rubble with a Cotswold stone roof and has an ashlar chimney on the right side. The original two bays of the house contain two-light ovolo mullion windows, while the additional bay has chamfered mullions set in rebated surrounds. The doorway is centrally located in the original part of the cottage and is chamfered, featuring an open gabled porch.
