Description
Farthing Green is a late 17th century to early 18th century cottage that has been modernised and extended. It is a simple single-storey and attic building constructed from rubble, topped with a Cotswold stone roof. The cottage features two modern gabled dormers and has a total of five windows, three of which are grouped together, with one being a three-light mullioned type. The two-window section of the building is a converted former byre. Inside, the ground floor east room retains a chamfered beam, while the west room includes an imported Tudor-arch fireplace with panelled spandrels. The roof structure is supported by through purlins.
