Description
Cherry Orchard Cottage is a 17th-century building that was remodelled in 1924. It is constructed of rubble with a Cotswold stone roof, originally thatched, with hips to the left. The building features two ridge chimneys and two gabled half dormers, which were converted from earlier Cotswold dormers when the eaves were raised. On the ground floor are two chamfered mullion windows with rebated surrounds and drips, containing three and four lights respectively. A two-storey extension exists to the left, along with a single-storey extension to the right. The main entrance is from the rear, which has been significantly altered. Internally, one truss remains, featuring slightly curved principals resting on a tie-beam. The upper part of the staircase is also visible.
