Description

This is an unidentified pedestal tomb located in the churchyard of the Church of St. Michael, approximately 2.5 meters south of the south transept. It dates from the late 18th century to the early 19th century and has a circular plan. The tomb features three inscription plaques, two of which have illegible inscriptions. The plaques have quadrant corners and are adorned with fine marginal mouldings. Three brackets, decorated with bellflower and scrollwork, separate the panels. Above the inscription panels is a continuous frieze with a festoon design. The tomb is capped with a moulded margin and dentil decoration, topped by a circular pointed moulded capping.
