Description

The Fruit Basket is a building located on Church Street, dating from the early to mid-19th century, which features remodelling of 18th-century fabric. It stands at 2½ storeys high, constructed of rubble with a slate roof. The roof has a gabled dormer that resembles the right-hand part of the adjacent building, "Flower Girl," and is actually continuous with it. On the first floor, there is one sash window with a segmental head. The ground floor includes a plain shop window and door. The interior has been altered. This building is included for its group value with nearby structures.
