Description
Leysbourne House and the cottage attached to its west are early 19th century buildings. They are constructed from coursed rubble and feature a cornice and parapet, along with a low pitch slate roof. The house stands three storeys tall and has three windows, which include 16 pane sashes and small paned sliding sashes on the top floor. The entrance has a doorway with a plain Tuscan porch. There are three ashlar ridge stacks with moulded caps. The rear wing of the property includes a partly 16th century cottage that is now used as a storehouse. This cottage features two and three light mullion windows with cornices, a saddlestone on the northeast gable, and granary steps on the east flank.
