Description

This sundial, located about 6 meters east of the Indian Fountain in Sezincote Park, dates from the 19th century and was created by Thomas Daniell. It is made of limestone and features a bronze dial. The sundial has an octagonal base with inset panels on each face and a moulded capping. At the center, there is a smaller octagonal shaft adorned with anthemion type decoration at the top of each face, also topped with a moulded capping stone.
