Description
The wall located to the south-east of the East Banqueting House is an early 17th-century structure that is part of the layout of Baptist Hicks' Campden House. It retains a terrace over Coneygree Field and ornamental ponds. The wall is approximately 90 yards long and varies in height from 7 to 10 feet. It is constructed of dry stone, primarily using squared rubble. There are two stepped buttresses roughly at the center, and to the west of these buttresses, the masonry is coursed. Additionally, there is a blocked stone Tudor or arch doorway to the east.
