Description

The lodge and gatepiers located to the east of Highgrove were built in the late 18th century. The lodge is constructed of ashlar stone and features a stone-slate roof. It is a single-storey building designed in an L-shape, with a Venetian window on the west side. There are four adjacent gatepiers that are rusticated and have fluted friezes topped with domical caps, also dating from the late 18th century. Modern iron gates are installed at the entrance.
