Description
Castle Hill Farm consists of a pair of semi-detached farm cottages built in the mid 19th century. They are constructed from coursed rubble stone and feature a stone slate roof with a central ridge stack that has grouped flues. The main section of the cottages is a single storey with an attic, flanked by lower porch wings on each side, which are also single storey with attics. There is a rear wing in the center that has a partly concrete tile roof.
On the south side, there are two small gables, each with paired original iron lattice casements and splayed stone voussoirs, which are also present on the ground floor. The porches on each side have shallow chamfered Tudor archways with plank doors. Despite some concrete tiles being used on the rear, this modest pair of cottages remains largely intact as originally built.
