Description

Sherborn House dates to the mid-19th century and is built in a vernacular Cotswold style. The building is two and a half storeys high, constructed of coursed rubble. It has a slate roof with ashlar chimneys on the right-hand side, and three gabled dormers featuring casement windows. A prominent full-height carriage arch is a key feature, incorporating an arched board to the head, two ten-panelled doors with panelled gateposts and ball finials, and weatherboarded infill. To the right of the arch are two small, two-storey angled bays flanking a panelled door. A similar angled bay is located to the left, also with a panelled door. The windows now have modern aluminium casements. The building is included on the list for its group value.
