Description
The south wing of the White Hart Royal Hotel, known as the Cotswold Restaurant, dates back to 1828. This building is constructed of ashlar and features string courses and an eaves cornice, topped with low pitch Welsh slate roofs. It consists of a terrace of three townhouses that have undergone some alterations. The building stands three storeys high, with each house having three windows, which are sash windows with glazing bars, except for the Cotswold Cafe that has modern casement windows and a modern small-paned shop window. There is a carriage arch with an elliptical head and a plain central square-headed door with a rectangular light above it; the White Hart has converted this door into a sash window. The central house has later additions at the ground floor level, and there are ridge stacks present.
