Description
Haddon House is a detached house dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is built of random coursed limestone with a stone slate roof and features an ashlar stack. The house has a rectangular plan and is two storeys high with an attic. The symmetrical facade has three windows, which include one and two-light windows with horizontal glazing bars set within double-chamfered stone-mullioned casements that have stopped hoods. There are also stone-mullioned windows in the gable ends and as garret lights. A central porch, added in the 20th century, has a studded door within a moulded surround and stopped hood, with reused two-light stone-mullioned casements in the side walls. The house features a triple diagonal axial stack. The interior has not been inspected. A 20th-century extension at the rear right is not of special interest.
