Description
Robert Welch Studios, formerly known as The Plough Antiques Shop, dates from the mid to late 17th century and was restored by Norman Jewson. The building consists of two parts, with the left side being more extensively restored than the right. The left part features two and a half storeys made of coursed rubble, while the right side is constructed of ashlar. It has a Cotswold stone roof that is hipped at the corner. The left side has a large gable with three and four light mullion windows, a glazed door to the left, and a many-paned shop window next to it, which has a four light mullioned window above. The right side includes two gabled dormers and three light stone mullion windows arranged in two rows, along with a chamfered central door that has a 20th-century wrought-iron hanging sign above it.
