Description

Grey Cottage is a house from the mid-19th century that was remodeled in the 20th century. It is built of coursed rubble with a stone slate roof and features a central ashlar chimney. The house has three large gabled dormers in the attic and two storeys below. There are two modern two-light mullioned windows with drips. A central modern gabled stone porch is present, and there is a through passage to the left. The cottage is likely contemporary with the pair of cottages to the right, which is at an angle to it and was probably once similar in appearance. It is included in the listing for its group value.
