Description
This building is a stable with a loft over, located approximately 40 meters north of The Manor. It dates from the mid-19th century and is constructed from coursed squared and dressed limestone, topped with a stone slate roof. The stable has a rectangular plan and stands one and a half storeys high.
On the ground floor, there are two single-width doorways with cambered lintels, along with four windows, some featuring flat-arched heads and others with timber lintels. There are steps leading up to a plank door at the center of the facade that provides access to the loft. To the right of this door, there are two additional windows. The building has a hipped roof.
Inside, there is a continuous hay rack located under a slot in the first floor along the rear wall, and the floor is cobbled. This stable is part of a complex farm group.
